Accommodations for up to six.
With the exception of the main salon, the entire interior is
finished in satin-varnished teak with high quality joiner work
we are so accustomed to seeing from Lyman Morse. There are 5
bronze opening ports with screens as well as 4 dorade vents
with s/s cowls, 5 2004 Lewmar deck hatches, and 3 deck prisms.
Main Salon interior is semi-gloss white with recessed paneling
on forward bulkheads and teak trim. Main salon and galley /nav
station has new planked overhead. All interior passages have
arched doorways.The Forward Cabin as a v-berth with a
centerline insert. There are numerous drawers and lockers
above and below for an abundance of storage. Aft and to
starboard is the enclosed Head Area equipped with a separate
shower stall. Opposite the head is a large owners cabin with a
double berth. Raised panels and teak trim highlight this
cabin.

Deck Equipment
The hull color is light gray.
The superstructure is white with off white non-skid. Main and
cockpit decks/seats are teak overlay. In 2003 and 2004 the
original RAISED Deck House was removed and a new one, designed
by Robert Perry, was installed. This arrangement permits
outstanding 360-degree visibility from any location in salon,
galley, and helm station.

Remarks
ONE IRON is a customized TASHIBA 40.
Robert Perry design. Original owner never used her. Her second
and current owner purchased her in 1997 and commenced a major
refit in 2003. All work was accomplished by Lyman Morse Boat
Building of Thomaston, Maine. All design and engineering was
accomplished by Robert Perry.
This refit included:
- Lengthening hull by 18" overall and at waterline
- Removal and replacement of entire salon coach roof
and salon cabin sides
- Restyling and redesign of salon lower helm station
and owner's cabin
- All new major deck hardware
- Custom bowsprit Dolphin Striker
- New Waterbeke 75HP diesel with double drop exhaust
system

- All new sails and running rigging
- 80% of wiring and plumbing have been replaced iwth
new
- All new electronics and misc. gear
- All new cushions and upholstery
- All chainplates removed and new s/s oversized ones
installed
